Recently I had the opportunity to photograph this campaign for the City of Dallas. It was fun to be working in my hometown. Currently at different landmarks in Dallas you can find the big letters B and G allowing you to become the I and snap your own photograph as part of the fun. Creative that was great to begin with has a hook at the end to allow everyone in the city to get involved. Now that’s brilliant.

We’ve caved to the pressure. We’ve done it. Tom will be updating Instagram with his daily musings photographically. Follow along @TomHusseyPhotography. It will be a sketch book of ideas as well as a peek behind the scenes. Don’t worry we will still be posting on the blog daily with more “finished” images.

I spent the past weekend in Southern California shooting new work for my portfolio. It was a great weekend. I had a great crew helping to make the magic happen. After a flight delay we returned to Dallas at 3 a.m. this morning. Looking through the resulting images, I realize how beneficial it can be to step away from the usual and spend 36 hours creating in a new location.

Because you just never know where you might be inspired.
