I have been a fan of NPR for many years now. Today I was thrilled beyond words to have my work posted on NPR’s “The Picture Show”. You can see the live site here or on the screen capture below. Pretty cool.
As an advertising photographer, I do a bit of advertising myself. Here is the image that is running in the current edition of At-Edge. This image is one in the series of a campaign for the Novartis Exelon Patch that I originally begin shooting in March of 2009. The campaign has been so successful that I was hired to photograph more images in the fall of 2009 and just finished another series for the campaign in December of 2010. We are currently working on the next four images in the series. Look for them soon.

The “Reflections” campaign that TOM HUSSEY photographed for Novartis is generating quite a lot of buzz. The campaign is featured this week on Photography Served. Take a look and you can give Tom a thumbs up at the bottom of the images if you’d like. Tom really enjoyed working on this campaign and was hired to shoot another series of images recently in New York for the continuation of the project. We will post those images soon.
Have you been to the website lately? See what’s current, the photographer’s are all adding new images weekly.

We had a lot of fun shooting today AND we had cupcakes! Does it get any better?

Tom recently had the opportunity to shoot for a new Novartis drug called the Exelon Patch. Exelon is a transdermal patch used to help people with memory problems and daily living challenges associated with Alzheimer’s disease. In doing research for the campaign, we learned a lot about the disease and how it effects people who have the disease and those who care for them. The images in the campaign are typical of how patients with Alzheimer’s see their younger self. Ironically, as we get older, don’t we all see our selves the same way?
