This is a portrait that I made on location of an ironworker. Although the location in the final image becomes completely irrelevant it was important to photograph the subject on location where he was comfortable in his environment. I really like the character in his face and I asked him to wear his hardhat to help tell the story of who he is and the places that he has been.

This is a statue of Sam Houston. The statue is approximately an hour and a quarter outside of Houston. When you drive from Dallas to Houston it is a signal that you are about 10 minutes away from ending up in some crazy bad traffic. No matter what time I drive into Houston from Dallas I always hit traffic. This trip, I made it a point to stop at the park right off the highway where the statue is just to take a break and catch my breath before heading into the slow traffic ahead. It helped.

In between jobs I always shoot for myself. It lets me push the limits with talent and post production and helps my work to evolve. This shot is from a recent series that I am working on with teenagers. Have a great weekend everyone.

Today is not the end of the week for us, we are working hard to get the new website up by Monday. A self imposed deadline. We are excited about the new site. It will be nice to have the new fresh look in place. Stay tuned, we will be celebrating when it goes live! Happy weekend to all that are not here working with us. Those that are, let’s crank the music and keep going!
