Years ago, I shot a job underwater using a film camera.  It was difficult as I would come up and the art director would say “did you get it?”.  I knew I had several images that I felt were good but there was no immediate digital “playback”.  In fact at one point the Art Director actually said to me “can I see a Polaroid?”.  It wasn’t possible.  He didn’t even think about the lack of Polaroid technology for underwater photography until he was actually in the pool with me.  He quickly had to learn to art direct in a very old school manner.  Times have changed in the realm of underwater  photography.  I am in the process of shooting a personal project and experimenting with many different techniques and underwater housing.  In Texas, it’s a great time to be in the pool.
