With a crew of 20 shooting halloween in the studio – we had a very fun week. Have a great holiday weekend everyone – we’re out early today to enjoy the sunshine.

This was my passenger riding along to the studio early this morning. A prop for today’s shoot. Almost got hit by one car as they noticed my “passenger”. Shortly there after I watched a woman spill her coffee when she looked over. You never know what we will be doing next.

EASY! We are gearing up to shoot a big production in the studio this week. Lots of kids. Amazing costumes. Fantastic huge crew. Gorgeous sets all built by hand. Looking forward to the fun and excitement.

…this morning we had Jack Sprague and 18 of his students from UNT in the studio to learn about the wonderful world of TOM HUSSEY Photography. We were also joined by the lovely Ana Bohanan from Tracy Locke to talk about advertising agency life and art buying. If we haven’t scared everyone out of the business we will look forward to working with them soon.

Let’s see … break down a set, paint a backdrop, move furniture, run studio errands, HUGE casting, learn photo terms, learn about the equipment on set, suffer through numerous pranks, get lunch, sweep the studio, meet with advertising agency, gather sports equipment for another shoot, stand in for lighting test, learn what a sweep is, put up sweep, pull down sweep - really not much going on and Harrison doesn’t look worn out at all – right?

We have a huge casting in the studio today. It starts early and runs late. We are expecting about 500 people. Mostly kids. A few adults. I am sure that this image is how I will feel when it’s all said and done this evening.
